im a owner of two of 12"-subs and thease subs sound good if you got the power to run them your gonna need a big amp to get big pounding bass out of thease monsters!(good brand name two no pyramid stuff or jensen stuff!
if u want a sub that slams this is it. i have 2 with a kenwood 1000w amp and they handle it no prob. these are the best subs ive ever had!!!!!!!
I have one ten running in a single cab truck with a custom box and a punch 500 amp and it hits 142 spl these speakers are the s***. A guy told me that an orion hcca would out hit it so we hooked it up to the same amp and it only hit 129.
I have 2 of these subs my honda civic and it freakin shakes the walls in my house! how about a sub like that.

I have one of theses in a ported box in my 1997 single cab dakota pickup, I am putting 1200 watts from a new jbl 1200.1 amp to the sub (I run the amp at one ohm< Not recommended! VOIDS WARRANTY) This sub when overpowered will hit hardwe than the JL w7 but lacks slightly in the sound quality region, with the 1200 watts i put to my sub i can make my friends ears bleed if I want to, great sub for the money if you pay under $200 for it.
I own a car audio shop and a website so you know that I have heard my fair share of subs...this sub is the hardest hitting 10" I have ever seen. I just did an installation of two of them in a Nissan Maxima and it hit 159 spl! This thing is putting down top of the line 15" subs. Plus you get the quick response of a 10"..this sub.
