The Best Quality Subwoofer I have ever purchased
I bought my subs off of onlinecarstereo and I love them.
Sound Quality, good look's and impresive performance make for a deadly combination. Alpine has hit the nail on the head with this one. The best 10inch sub i have heard to date.
cast aluminum frame = HEAVY/STURDY subs. you gotta turn up the juice make them work properly since they run at 300 RMS. Better make sure you have a quality amp that can push 'em. If you got a good setup, just one of these will be all you need.. Two of them will leave you dazed and confused.
I have two of these in a 99 civic and it is crazy. i also have them on a cheap amp at the moment but they still sound great. The quality and sound for the money can not be beat. overall the subs are great
With this sub you get exactly what you pay for. Alpine has always had amazing quality products and with the type r series they really out did the competition. They sound exactly what a sub should sound like. Very crisp and clear hits. I have two of these in my mustang and i'm actually getting another. Make sure youre running them off a good amp to bring out the potential in these guys.
Freakin awesome sub, I have mine in a .6 cu ft box and it still pounds like crazy. I just replaced my old set up of a 12" JL W3(older version)and 350 watt rms Kenwood amp with this Alpine and an Audiobahn 4002 intake series amp and all i can say is WOW! The Led Zep sounds like I'm in concert and the Tupac pounds the crap outta everything around it. Definately never going back to JL again!
