Superb low frequency handling, excellent power handling, this subs truly a jack of all trades, rather your a basshead, or love the sound of the bass notes playing naturally, this sub can do it, and for this price, its near impossible to beat it, I would reccomend a vented enclosure tuned at 29hz
this is a great sub for the money. i am running 1 off of the rear channels of a pg ti500.4 in a 1.6cft box w/ a 13" long 3" port. the sub sounds awesome off of around 250w.
I've had a pair of these since 11/03 and I'm very impressed. For the money these little guys rock. Sound quality is great with any kind of music. Power handling is good, I'm running my pair with a JL 1000/1 so they get plenty of juice. Low frequencies rumble with the bass music and drum kicks thump with the live music All in all these are great subs, probably not the best choice for super bass-heads but for good sound quality that can still crank out the bass and won't break the bank these subs are a good choice.
I'm a big fan of these. I run 2 in a sealed enclosure from a fosgate 451s at 225x2 at 2ohm. They hit all frequencies and have excellent sound quality and big bumps when you need it. Excellent value and sound quality.
