i like the colour combination and outlook of this stereo
It's a good car stereo for that price. When I personalize de equlizer the quality sound was better. The quality of FM is mid range. The power is good, and don't need amplifier.
All in all, a very good headunit. MP3 and wma play back seamlessly and the amps in this baby can make even some stock car speakers sound great.
this is definitely the best mp3 player available on the market in its price range. Pioneer has always been a trustworthy company that produces quality workmanship products. this player can do almost everything: will play mp3's, cd's, cdr's, cdrw's, and wma as well as wav formats. packed with features that let anybody adjust to his or her liking. power output is great, eliminates the need for an amplifier unless you really have to get one. only drawback is that there is no carrying case included for the faceplate.
I drive an overland expedition vehicle over some of the worst roads in South America and bought this unit on reccomendation. It has withstood some terrible shock conditions on not skipped a beat... I thought that playing MP3 CD's would solve the skipping problem of previous units, but this unit even plays ordinary CD's without skipping!
Very good quality, sound is very good and the equilizers make it better. Plays MP3, CD and other formats without a hitch. Easy to maneuver thru the MP3 folders and controls are easy to operate. You would be hard presses to find a better radio at anything near this price.
An all around great deal and quality product from Pioneer!
