This head it sick! No more bling-bling black chrome! All the features you expect and some you didnt know you would like...Only wish it had a high-pass filter to go along with the low-pass. Clean looking, no clutter, easy to operate! This thing rocks! Best money I have EVER spent on a head unit.
I got the DXZ745MP as an upgrade from another brand. All I can say is WOW! You can clearly hear the difference between this unit's 24 bit chip and the normal 1 bit chip, all the little details in the music are so much more clear that I didn't want to get out of my car. I would recommend this unit to everyone who really loves music. The only real downside is the size of the remote, (too big) but because it uses easy to replace AA batteries that is hardly a downside. If you can't seem to decide on a color, you can set the display on color scan and every few seconds the color will change, awesome feature though it is slightly distracting in combination with the screen saver during night driving. I hope this review was helpful, for now it is time for me to shut up and drive!
I HAVENT FIGUERD OUT EVEN A 1/4 OF THIS UNITS FULL OPTIONS, BUT LOOKS GREAT "very streamline",FEEL SOLID TO THE TOUCH,THE COLORS ARE SWEET IVE MADE THREE PERSONAL COLORS ALREADY,ive only had a few other head unit,s b-4 pioneer and sony and a few other cheapy,s. I had a old clarion tape deck back in the early 90,s that thing was a tank took forever to kill it.! .thats why id waited for a few good years to find my perfect new clarion,last yeARS models kinda cheese,y ,but the 04' models are truly something to enjoy. " I LOVE MY NEW CLARION" puts lots of smiles on my face. I believe that the dxz745mp is there overall best unit of the year 2004. well good luck on what ever you decde on. CLARION ALL THE WAY :}}
It made a huge difference in the sound quality in my system. i think its my best cd player i had so for.
love the deck, but after about a year the color on the screen does what ever it wants when ever it wants other than that nice unit
