well i love the back ground effects on all that but i would love to see more different colours i just love the deh-p9600mp receiver

Really nice unit, always loved pioneer quality (yes i know alpine alpine alpine) however my old unit finally dies after 3 years and wanted to upgrade really liked the old model split face but BEWARE the MP3 access times were rubbish, the new unit has bundles more features, much swankier and MP3 access is on par with normal CD-DA (std cd audio) navigation. (phew)
All in all i'm still learning all the features (and there are lots of them) my two only comments - when will pioneer learn to do a decent fast forward facility and the folder navigation for MP3's is not nice and "scrolly" it's a bit clumsy...

well over all the system is very nice with lots n lots of functions which i still havent understand, but i jus want to say this that pioneer should make more colored displays available on their website, so that we can enjoy more, over all a nice n good piece of work by pioneer, im lovin it :)

This head is really good when you just bought it. Mine is starting to get problem with the display after 7 months. But it's a really great unit and is high volt and a good 3-way network program.

Topnotch quality in dash unit. Used it in 2 audio competition. Hit 138 dBwith one 15 inch Power Acoustic powered by 1700 watt amp. And 145,7dB using 2 Kicker L5 15 and Hifonics amps. The thing about it is you can seperately adjust all your audio curves for either front or rear speakers. The included microphone takes a lot of work out of your hand. Most fascinating is both used the speaker wires and RCA terminals to hook up your system. In that way I am able to play with 4 6,5" mid's and 4 9x6 midbase speakers and one sub. Belive the sound quality is awesom even if you shut of the amp and still play with 2 mids and 2 mid base, people believe there is a sub playing down somewhere but, it isn't. Hey Pioneer keep up the good work and bring something new for 2006.
