I have one. It added a some really clean bass. It's being pushed by a 300 watts amp in a XJ jeep. I never "jam". I just wan'ted something to pick up where my 5.25s door speakers left off. Does a good job too. Unfortunately, the tube has developed a rattle. At first I thought it was the speaker. But upon closer inspection, by pure accident, I found out it was the tube. As I placed my hand on the tube when I leaned over the back seat, the rattle stopped. It sounds like it is where the port is glued to the tube. I'm not sure. Its fixable, I just have to take it apart and silicone the two to rid the tube of the vibration. Kind of annoying. That is something one shouldn't have to deal with when purchasing something so expensive. Maybe I got a lemon, I don't know. Hope this was helpful.
I have four of these on a kicker zx 850.2,diamond audio 6 by 9's and door speakers, with a crunch 1400.4 powering insides, clarion eq, sony head unit, two kinetic batteries, and these bang pretty hard for tens. They actually go pretty low on the bass too. If you power them right with a good amp you will get some hard hitting bass. My car always gets a lot of looks. Oh yeah, 2004 monte carlo on dubz. You will like what these can do for you.
