Overall this is a great amp. I have it powering my door and rear speakers (MB Quart) which are each rated at 60-130W rms. This amp feeds them 88W rms which is pretty close to the middle of that range which is where MB Quart recommends. Having all the connections on one side is an awesome revision by Kenwood. Makes the install so much prettier! If your deck does not have crossover settings then this amp will do that for you. However the A(Front) ch is severly limited in functionality compared to the B(Rear) ch. I believe this is because this amp is targeted at people who will be running a sub off the B ch. But if you use it like I am to feed all that power to your fronts and rears, you wont be dissapointed! I have the gain (Input Sensitivity) set all the way DOWN to 5V to match the preout level of my X979 deck and I still can't turn the volume all the way up without it starting to hurt my ears! :-)
I have many seen amps but I found it unique. A friend of mine who is a car audio system seller comments that it's really superb. It is far better than any other products that we normally see or use in our car, esp. better than those chinese local products. As a music lover I would recommend Kenwood excelon KAC-X541 as one of the best multi channeled amp on earth.
This amp will blow your mind away by how clear it is! I was just amazed after I first hooked it up to my front and rear speakers (infinity kappas) and I dont even have to turn up the volume hardly at all before my ears start ringing =) I would recomend this amp to anyone who wants top sound performance at a low cost. You just cant get this high of quality at such a great price! This amp deserves and earns a 10 on my scale.

This amp is amazing. I hooked it up to my KDC-X889 Excelon head unit and the sound I am getting is super clean, even at ear drum piercing volume levels. What can I say, every time I turn my radio on,I can't help but smile (I have Alpine 5 X 7 type R speakers front and rear). Controlling the amp from the head unit is also pretty cool, just remember that you need to purchase an extra cable that does not come with stereo or amp (cable part no. CA-C6LN). If you want clean sound at a great price, this amp cannot be beat!
