These subwoofers are the hotest ones around in my State.
This sub i have had for about 2 weeks .... this sub is awesome.... i have it in a 6.283 cuft. box with a slot port 56 square inches... the low end bass 27 to 38 hz..... is great but what i like truly about this sub is even though it has a frequency responce of 100 hz it still hits almost all... of the beats.... HARD.... if you like rap music then this is the perfect sub for you ..... the only problem with it is that the sensitivity is a little low so it takes too much power to run it.... I have a 1000 watt Memphis Class D mono block.... Power reference amp.... i have the amp all of the way up and it is loud but i couldnt beleive that it would take all of the power of this amp.... but with that sensitivity rating (88.7???) and me being used to audiobahn (91-93 db) there is a difference and it is huge..... Good sub just make sure you have plenty of power for it... oh and also ... my box is out of 3/4 in. MDF board... i also highly suggest 1 in.. thick...:) i needs it .. or heeeelllla braceing....
hoollllyyy crap! this is clearly the best speaker i have ever owned. i currently have a minivan and i have 3 10" kicker solobaric speakers and the this 15" on top of it. all of that barely fits in the trunk, i had to buy a sony XPlod 1600 wat amp just for this sub, and ooohhh man, i shook my spare tire loose from the bottom goin about 80 down I-275 and that was not pretty. anyways this is by far the crazy-est sub available, just the price killed my wallet...
Awesome sub! Most people who bash a product don't know how to use it. If the enclosure is built correctly and the power/signal is clean then you'll have a hard time beating this sub. Subs don't fry amps, stupid people fry amps. Set the gains and xover settings correctly and feed the amplifier with the voltage and current it needs and you'll find that it will work alot better! One major factor of this sub is the enclosure volumes needed to reproduce ground shaking bass. Another major factor is that you only need one sub. This sub is capable of insane output while sounding very good. If you don't know what you're doing then take it to a shop that does. This woofer is worth every penny spent on it if it's installed properly in the right enclosure for your vehicle. All subs will blow from clipped or distorted signal. Most people would point their finger at the product rather than claim the responsibility for not installing it correctly. I've never seen a speaker blow for no reason, have you? It couldn't be the fact that the gains are set too high or you didn't have a SSF engaged while the sub was in a ported enclosure, could it?? Of course not!! People need to stop bashing products when they're the reason that their product fail. To the rest of you, keep Livin' Loud!!!!
This Sub is just down right AWESOME. I have 1 15 pushed by an KX 800.2 in the back of a mitsu. outlander. I finished second in one of the events during the OKLAHOMA SHOWDOWN. I love this sub and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to compete or just be heard from far far away. I plan to get the 1200.1 soon. the only way i will go with a different sub is if i go with the solo X line either 2 12's, or 1 18.. if you have this sub or going to get this sub enjoy and hope to see some of you on the DB Drag curcuit.
Ive grown up in stillwater oklahoma. Lived here all my life. Ive just grown up hearing kicker, ive trired everything else, outside of digital designs this it the best sub on the market.
this is the best sub out their you can get besides a solo x kicker is the best brand period i have one 15 l7 in a super bass pro box (vented) with a kx 1200 and a kenwood excelon kdc 889 head unit all the mids and highs are kicker best spl and best bass possible its in a chevy blazer ive only entered one contest their were about 35 people their in which everyone having more than one sub except me i took first place hitting a 148 these things are insane my one l7 will shake peoples cars and foundations when i drive by
I have two L7 15.With a kx 2500.1 pushing this monster.The only junk thing about it is that u better be ready to pay the ticket u get from the cops.Other then that the sub is really good.Better then the W7!!!!!!!!!
These subs are great and very powerful with the right amp, Recommended to all.
I have two these with the duel 2ohm coils, each pushed by a kx1200.1, in a custom box I built after I sent the designs to kicker and had them tweek the design to get it perfect. The roof of my tahoe travels up and down 1-2" either way when I play them. THESE ARE LOUD AND HAVE GREAT SQ. There is no better brand out there, kicker is the best, their tech support is friendly and helpful, and they back their products. I highly recommend getting 1 of these (or 2)
I have a 15" L7 Dual VC 2 Ohm. I have a Kicker 1200.1 amp on it in a 3 Cubic Ft Box tuned at 32 Hz. My friends can hear me coming down the street about 3 minutes before they see me. Dope Sub. Just make sure you have a big enough box because I had a 2 cubic foot box and the air pressure split the sub down the middle. Thank God for warranties!
