excellent sound,good value, top brand name
The crossovers are large, but very good!!! PLACEMENT of these speakers is everything. At first i had mine in a factory location and than i moved them into a kick panel and the sound improved drastically. when you order these speakers, they give you plenty of toys and mounting hardware. Obvious pride from alpine employees can be seen in this product and i respect that.
These are just awesome, sound is just crisp and clear, and good bass gains, You can see the quality in this product when you look at the hardware, !A+++++++++++++++++
Have to say when I first got these, they didnt sound good. The passive xover on these is state of the art and even experienced installers had hard time setting the xover on these. But when they got hooked up the right way, I was very impressed with the sq on these. I am not used to a soft dome tweeter, but when I do my all sq system I will be getting these again. I got mine very cheap from a local store. I dont know if I would pay what that are asking on here. There are other speakers out there in my mind that sound better. But overall an excellent componet set.
i went from infinity reference series to these hooked up to the same fourway infinity amp, as you would expect a radical difference. very clean and clear at high volumn. crossovers are huge, hard to hide. great quality Im very pleased!
Very nice little component set, but when you realize it is rebadged Seas and Vifa speakers it starts to seem pretty expensive for what you are getting. (can buy the woofers and tweets for about $110 from online distributors) The crossovers make up for it though. yes, they are HUGE, but they are also very adjustable. If theyre in your budget they wont do you wrong.
Not for people who want booming bass out of 6.5's. If you're just into SQ, I highly recommend these.
well i think all in all, these are very nice. very clear, and very loud. only issue is there are hard to tune, but once tuned they are very nice. best price for these are here.
