Best invention since wheel!!! You gotta love it!!! No FM to deal and you control the IPOD on your head unit!!!! Great!!! It is a shame it took so long to get released!
This is a pretty cool device. It allows me to control and charge my iPod through my Pioneer 7700 receiver, although it is sometimes a little slow to load songs. Plus, I can't figure out how to get it to display the song title while it's playing. Overall, it's a must have for iPod owners.
Okay, I have to say I was very impressed with the Pioneer CD-IB100. I have it connected to a DEHP-920R. It is not slow seeking through songs as stated in other reviews on this product. It is very functional. It charges right from the connector and the audio sounds very clean. Overall this product is a good investment if you want to have your music with you as you travel.
This is an awesome product when connected to a compatible Pioneer Headunit. Now not only does my 860MP have in dash CD, FM/AM Tuner, 6 Disc MultiCD and XM but it also has over 5000 songs available through the headunit from my IPOD 20gig. Sound quality is very very good and the controls are intuitive. Way to go Pioneer. The best part is that is charges you IPOD as well while you driving.
When I bought this product, I thought I would be able to control what song to play directly though my iPod. Wrong. You have to control it through a Pioneer Deck, and this is my only dislike of the product because it takes forever to get to a specific artist. Although I usually have all of my favorits songs in a playlist, so it is much easier now. Overall, no static, all direct connected which makes is sound really good.
