This Boss CD Stereo is definitely worth its price. The sound is great and the loudness is awesome. I turned it up to 60 Vol (it goes up to 100 Vol) and its ear-pounding. I love the three-color left and right channel spectrum analyzer (looks great at night). It works really well with hard-hitting kicks and long bass notes. The blue glow is pleasing at night and makes it easy to read the buttons. Also, this is the first deck I've seen with a "Mute" button! And the "LOUD" feature really is LOUD. However, there are some drawbacks to this stereo. The volume knob is a little too shallow and slippery for my liking. The Tracking Buttons are too small for my big fingers and ejecting a CD is kind of werid (you have to hold the "Open" button for at least 3 seconds.)Overall, for its price, it is worth every penny.

The receiver performs really good with cd's and the loudness is good too. The only problems it have are: the look (it's kind of cheap looking), and the FM reception (really weak compared to other receiver brands). Overall is good and the RCA and Subwoofer outputs really give it and edge, also it has about 5 preset equalizers to choose from; I find it a very good buy for the price.
