First off I wanna say i was hesitant to buy this product without any reviews and for the fact it's my first car stereo I ever bought. I'm very pleased with this product..CD/MP3's go in so easy with little hassle and the deck stays on the entire time even when its flipped down to eject the cd unlike others in its class. It read's mp3 and atrac3 cd's very quickly which also eases the use. Pretty easy to use deck with decent features. The cd text is a great thing aswell. It's a great looking deck especially at night and the pictures dont do it justice. The remote is pretty nice but could use bigger buttons and more features. The downfall about this product is that it doesnt have many features. There's no pause button for when you just want to pause a song for a second to hear what one of your buddy's have to say. And not many options on the deck itself. But if your looking for a basic deck that works well with pretty good features look no further then this one. Another downside about this isnt the product itself but how long it took to be shipped. I ordered on December 30th and recieved January 10th..just sat at the ups depo for 5 days before it even started moving.
You have to buy a separate $100.00 XM-300 unit in order to play auxillary equipment, such as an ipod. The site says it comes with an auxillary input, but it is useless without the separate unit, nearly the size of a second deck! It does have all of the cool features mentioned in the other review, and I like the clarit of the device. The separate unit also allows it to play through a USB port, which is also cool.
