I have this amp powering 6.5"'s in my doors, and a 10" sub in my trunk (the head unit powers my rear 6x9's). The overall sound is GREAT! A very nice amp. At first I was skeptical of Sony, but now am very happy with my purchase. Also, the redesigned amp looks better this year; before it was an ugly red and black color. The blue lighting looks very cool at night.
Got this amp for Christmas, and just installed it. Wired with 8 ga. wiring kit and 16 ga. going to 4 Kenwood 6.75" 3-way speakers and this thing plain ole' rocks. Also have 2 12" P5's hooked up to a 1200W Sony amp. All this is in my '97 Camaro and i hit 143SPL before this amp. I am now a moving sound theater.
Best Amp for the price! Has my BLX69 and JVCHS636's thumpin like no other. It has yet to overheat or cut off. Looks Tight too! The features are unbeatable, Buy this amp you won't be dissapointed.
I have it running my infinity components (5.25 in the front and 6.5 in the rear) and I've yet to complain about anything. It's mounted under the passenger seat and has yet to over heat. Decent amplifier for the money.
i was kinda of shady about this sony amp but when i installed it in my girlfriends car and tune it to the right spec damn i was surprized this amp sounds good and clear . the price is really good too and the shipping was fast and safe .
This has been a really nice Amp for my rodeo. Great sound for a great budget system. Very simple installation even for someone who rides the short bus. After I learned how to operate the features, I was rewarded with really good, clean sound. ONLINECARSTEREOS customer service is the best. If you are patient enough to get through, (they can be busy) their staff will help you get the right part for your budget.
