I just installed 2 of the type r's in my Toyota pickup in a custom box tuned to their specs, not too much and not too little. They are powered by an alpine m1000 amp with an alpine deck. These are hard to explain unless you sit in my truck. It makes my ears continuously pop, and I'm sure they are the loudest subs in my school. Oh, and they're pretty much impossible to blow, I'm just worried about my truck as they shake the s*** out of it.

i have a single type-R with a sealed box and a Alpine MRP-M500 mono amp powering it. This thing hits hard and it sounds so clear. In the past I had two 12" audiobahn's with a decent size amp and this 10" alone hits harder than the Two Audiobahn's together. Great Buy and I would Recommend this sub to anyone.

I have one of these in my ZX2.I built it a 1.6cu.ft ported box its being powered by a jl 500.1 and a pioneer-deh6700mp deck.It hits hard and never skips a note.Its sound quality is great.People ask if i got 2 twelves and the way it moves the steering wheel gots to say something good.By far the Best and most durable 10"sub I ever had.I got to get me another,the prize is right.
