These are great speakers. I put them in my 2001 Ranger XLT running out of my KDC-X789 head unit. This is the right price for these speakers. You can't get any better than that. I love the clear sound I get out of these speakers. This is a good buy right here

These speakers are great. I have them hooked up to just an alpine head unit and they still sound great. They have a very good midrange frequency response. If you get these up front, I would also recommend getting the Excelon tweeters as well. And also a seperate amp to run it. I plan on getting an amp soon. Good luck with your decision!

These are some great speakers for sure. they sound great with just the head unit running them, but once i got an amp they really started to sing. Can handle very high volume with very low distortion. Can't go wrong with these.

Bought two sets to replace 12 year old speakers in a Mustang and am very happy with the sound. Much better mid range, clearer highs and good bass as far as it goes. Will still add a sub at a later date for a bit more low end.
