When I went to circuit city, they promoted this amp. Of course its quite expensive for its power handeling. I ran 1 kkr cvr10, 600 watts max. and it was very nice... In a truck. I had the truck box in my dodge ram. It deffinitly put out a lot of power, to the point where I couldnt hear anything except the sub running. I wouldnt buy it again though. But for the first amp, it worked great
i bought this amp here on onlinecarstereo. My local dealer wanted like $400.00 for it. lol. I have the amp hooked up to 2 kicker cr 12"s in my 1997 pontiac firebird. This amp is incredible!!! I don't know why any1 would want any mtx amp that is bigger than this one. If u have 2 12's, buy this one! dont spend anymore money on the other mtx amps that have more power. Trust me. If u are just running to 2 12's, this is all u need, and then some. lol. Buy it!!! Pounds so hard u only need 2 turn gain up half way. lol. U might even wanna wear earplugs. I can't say enuff about how hard it pounds my 2 kickers. Just buy it!!!
I bought this amplifier on this website for a really, really good price! I have it hooked up to two 12" Kicker CVR in a ported box in my yukon. It pounds hard and smooth. This amp has some good power and awesome features! Its a great buy!!! Def. recommended to everyone.
this amp kicks ,,,,,,mtx is definately the way to ,,,,i didnt expect much from this amp but after it was hooked it rocked my car having the it up only half way,,,this amp is the best for the money,,,also this site has amazing deals
this is the best amp ive ever bought and i was just settling on in because cardiscountstereos riped me off and wouldnt return the broken amp they sent so i went to the local store and this is the one they had in my price range $400. i got it and it was still worth it but im thinking about getting another one because i got it running 2 cvr 15s and the more bass the better for me. deffinatley recomended.
I installed this amp in a buddy's car about a month ago on a 12 inch kicker CVR dual 2 Ohm wired in sereis back down to 4 Ohm. we bridged the amp and "supposedly" his amp is rated at 343 watts bridged, thats what the certificate that came with it said. gives him pretty good sound and thump but would have expected a little more for the supposed power out put. i know were still underpoering the sub but it should be hitting harder on this amp than it is. good amp easy to install and tune but not the sound and thump we were hoping for. good for a first amp but not for anyone looking to really push it.
