I Have A set of these in the front of my stratus and a set of the 6x9 kappas in the back and they sound awsome i would never go with anything but infinity, they are the best! for a 5.25 they have amazing bass response and with the 2 ohm imperdance they pull all the power from your amp, but i do reccomend using a seperate amp because most headsets don't go to 2 ohms.
Absolutely worth every penny when paired with the matching component kappa's in my vehicle. Sound field is excellent with extremely accurate sound reproduction. 75 watts x4 @ 2ohms is the sweet spot to bring out the best they can produce. considering what a great deal i got, i couldn't find a retail set that could touch these for under $300. Great buy, extremely happy. And yes, I have installed home and car audio components before so I am aware of what i am saying!
These speakers are simply amazing. I have these paired with Infinity Kappa 63.7i speakers to a Sony CDX-M8805X Head Unit in my 2004 Jeep Wrangler. It is a concert hall on 33s.
this are some of the best speakers I've ever heard.Have them in my '84 Jeep CJ-7 using custom pods I made and was shocked with the response I go when once I hooked them up.With two in the center pod and one in eace kicker panal I knew they would fill the CJ with sound but wasn't ready for just how much sound I got and the quality.man they sound great with rock,country or rap music.highs are great but what got me where lows.them really can play low bass no as much a a 8" sub but close and these are 5 1/4" we are talking about here. If you need this size in your car buy a pear,cross them at 70 Hz with a 18dB filter and 100-watts then be amazed.
