I was expecting alot more out of these speakers. I had bought these speakers along with some Alpines for my '97 Ford F350. The Alpines outperform the Infinitys in about every way. The Bass in the Infinitys is nothing compared to the Alpine. Another thing is these are 4 way speakers so you have to mount a crossover box along with the speakers. There wasn't enough wire to mount these in a good location in my truck. The Infinity speakers are ok but there are much better speakers for the price.

Replaced my infinity reference series with these in my 01 Ford Ranger...i thought my system sounded good before. now it is simply amazing, i have them connected to a jbl gto series amp that puts out 104 watts rms. these speakers matched with that amp will blow you away. these speakers are absolutly best you can get without going the route of component speakers, i have yet to hear a better set of coaxial speakers...i HIGHLY recommend these speakers to anyone who is not fond of their long term hearing, esp. for rock, hardcore, metal fans... i am proud to go deaf by these speakers

a vast improvement in my 02 f250... the external crossovers surprised me, but were not a problem... they didnt deliver as much bass as I expected, I wouldnt run these with out a sub. the highs were really good though. Im pretty sure Im going to run an amp to them... all in all a very decent product. Infinity all the way!!!!!!
