What can i say the most badass sub to ever come out of kicker. I think for the price though, i would rather just go with a couple of MTX 9500 for just as much. Your call good sub anyway. (you only need one, trust me heard in a van with 2 wow.)
alright, this is a powerful sub, but it isn't worth the money, and a jl will sound better. but it has a good show off factor. if u want a sub that is just loud (no sq) and to show it off, go with a kicker, otherwise go with something else.

Very good SPL sub but for anyone looking for a sound quality sub stay well away from this.
i have this 12" kicker solo x subwoofer running with 2 kicker kx2500.1 mono amplifiers and these will blow your mind. these are a little exspensive but they are worth the money and they are alot louder than jl audio.
These have very good sp but their sq isnt so great. They are made to go to competitions, where you will most likely place highly. They are high in price,but they are worth it once you have them hooked up.
I have two x 12s in my 96 tahoe and they beat up the block and i still havent broken them in yet my amp is still not turned all the way up pr briged. I am powering them with a Punch T2000 and they hit harder then my four T1 15s I had on two T1000s HotBuy
these things are monsters i have 2 solo x in a civic each sub is powered by a t1 power 1200 rockford amp they will make your ears bleed
i got six of these up in my hummer h1, i love to go to competitions to blow everybody else away, these subs are sick you can litterally hear me a mile away!!!
IT is a superwoofer but for the buck OHH-NO!! wouuldn't do it I would rather spend that money on a bag of UTZ potato chips than this sub, in that case get two 15" MTX Sledge-Hammers(9500)and call it. GEEESH!
I have one of these in the Trunk of my grand am gt and it whops the hell out of any MTX pair of subs you can think of. I just say why spend your money on a cheap sub when you can buy the best subs with kicker.

I have one of these bad boys in my f-150 and it hits harder than my three kicker cvrs.... lie.... I power it with a bd2000....cant beat kicker

This subwoofer is not for the Audiophile kinda person that wants everything equal, that's looking for SQ quality. The Kicker Solo X is a Competition subwoofer, it was designed for nothing but bass. If you want SQ, find another sub. This thing is a Beast, having a single 12 running off a Kicker 06ZX2500.1 in the show room, in a custom, ported, enclosure, it'll rattle the nails loose from the walls of the building next door. The shop has had the police called a few times because of this woofer. If you're not looking for competition level bass, i'd suggest a L5 or L7, but for those that want the BEST Kicker has to offer, you're looking at it!
I have the 18" with 2 Planet Audio P2250's and three yellow tops in a 9.7 cubic feet box custom made 4 a Prelude with Cobalt stage 3 digital gauges, it can make u ship a heart beat.
i have 3solo x18s in a club called sticksnstones in alliance ohio and never had more bass clerity and loudness to my knowledge im the only dj that uses these i ve owned 8 cerwin vega strokers and they dont compare
this is honestly the best sub on the market.people might tell you that the jackhammer hits harder but that is bull. I have 2 of these with 2 2000 wat amps and i have 2 put plexiglass in my car so the windows dont crack it is simply amazing
