The EC25 2-way dual 5" - Voice-matched to JBL's Studio or E Series - center-channel loudspeaker with a high-impact molded enclosure that blends in with modern televisions reproduces sound with unmatched clarity and power.
The PolyPlas cone woofer features traditional JBL engineering; the same technologies used in JBL's Professional equipment that can be found in stadiums, music halls and movie theaters around the world.
Shielded components allow placement near video monitors. High-temperature, oversized Kapton voice coil and HeatScape motor structure allow these speakers to effortlessly play all types of movies and music.
The FreeFlow flared port increases bass response without adding unwanted port noise. JBL's custom-designed drivers allow the use of simple, Straight-Line Signal Path crossover networks with high-quality electrical components that minimize processing that could degrade the signal.

jbl is great home audio.for those that dont know infinity and jbl are the same company owned by harmon kardon.jbl also pionered the dolby surround technoligy it was designed by jbl, dolby labortories.so these guys know home audio.yes there is better home audio such as PB,and boston acoustics but they will run you 2500.00 to 5000.00 for a 7.1 surround system.with jbl for around 700.00 to 1100.00 dollars here you can put together a very nice home audio system that will compare to higher end home audio systems. I personally have a boston acoustics in wall system and have heard the e series jbl's they are very comparable in sound and i paid 3000.00 for my system speakers.bang for the buck you cant beat jbl for home audio.
