Don't waste your $$$, this box comes with a DVC sub that couldn't even take 200 watts from my amp. I hooked it up and my amp kept tripping the protection circuit - hooked up my meter and noticed the box was ringing up at 0.5 ohms! That's when I opened it up to find the DVC sub wired in parallel. It should be ringing up at 2 ohms, but something wasn't right. I ran the box for about a month, and it wasn't even as loud as my 8 year old Jensen Nitro sub. Then both voice coils gave way and it now sits on my shelf, a reminder of my temporary insanity. You get what you pay for, so don't pay for this thing at all.
i bought this sub at target as an add on but i didn't need to. it is really cool, it has blue and red lights that light up to the beat of a song. plus it has two massive vent holes, easy hook up speaker terminals and two sweet plexi glass windows!! plus this speaker isn't just compatible with car stereos, it'll hook up to your home theater system too if you think about it. i've done and i'm always switching it back and forth from my car to my living room because its so portable.also the bass is rich and pounding and hits the lows great. I listen to a lot of beastie boys and there songs always has the low frequency bass beats and this sub nails it. im suprised its only a ten! trust me its worth a try at only 59 bucks. the only reason why im giving it a 8 for sound is because it makes a almost unnoticable ring when it goes loud........ OR IS THAT JUST MY CAR RATTLING???!!!
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this product, It hits low and looks great. For the money, there really is no better deal that you can get then this guy here. Lights, Stylish, very easy to hook up, and it also has velcro on the bottom of the speaker so it doesn't slide around in the back. A perfect gift for a friend/girlfriend and family members. Cheap and easy to install. They will think you spend a fortune :)
