I compared this unit that I bought from onlinecarstereo with a local shop and I get more features for less money. A little difficult to set up the programing. Absolutely fantastic sound, I love the sub pre-amp out with controlled output.
The unit cuts off sound only to my speakers when im using my ipod with both at full volume(but crazy enough my subs keep putting out bass). After 10 minutes of being off it works again. If I keep the ipod at 3 quarter's of the volume then it works fine. Overall its a good head unit, and the controls take a bit to figure out.(p.s. im using the front aux input for the ipod) Maybe the official connector would be better.
Great Head Unit It is a bit deceving though. It is HD ready. You Need to buy a $170 accessory to use the HD radio, same thing with the blue tooth. For the price of the unit I am pleased.
This HU was a big shock to me. From the looks of it, it looked cheap to me and I got it because of my budget. The first time I powered it up my jaw dropped. It looked so sweet and after about 30 min of tinkering around I figured out all the controls. It has some very handy features and looks awesome with the lights on. I would highly recommend this because of the quality and price.
This head unit is a great starter unit. i bought because it was cheap had the features i was looking for and came from a good company. overall it is perfect for the beginner.
This is a great unit with lots of features. The one thing I find the most troubling is whenever I'm driving and I try to turn the volume control knob, I wind up in the feature that controls the bass, treble, fade controls, ect. That is because the knob doesn't allow enough of my fingers to grab it and when I only slightly hit a bump it causes me push the volume control button, hence ptting me in the control mode instead. Otherwise it seem to be a great unit.
