this sub is excellent. i have two of these subs in an enclosed box runnning off of a 1600 watt spl surfboard amp and they really kick. i also have a rockwood crossover along with a pioneer deh-p3900mp cd player. the perfect setup for anyone who is on a budget and wants a hard hitting bass.for the type of sound im getting i should have paid about $3000 but i only spent like 1500 on everything so far pioneer is really great. but i have to get a stronger amp cuz i really like bass thats in low db and my amp cant push these powerful subs in the low phase. but i really recommend them
The subs are amazing they pound hard I have the two in open box in my 2000 honda civic with a 760w 2 channel pioneer amp the bass is amazing I have been setting off car alarms like crazy! great subs!
This sub is very impressive, bass is deep and loud. highly recommended to use with a sealed enclosure. i have two in a 1.5cuft each and the bass is just off the chart. Pioneer puts out some great products at very reasonable prices. If you want something to shake your car and the neighbors this will do it without leaving you broke. Pioneer did a great job here.
I bought two of these speakers about 6 months ago and haven't had one problem with them... I was actually impressed for buying them at such a cheap price... I have two in a 99 Dodge Dakota Extended cab and they sound damn good... I have a Kenwood 1000 watt mono D amp hooked up to them... I am gonna buy two more and another amp...very goood sub
This is my first Sub and it sounds great. the price is unbeatable. Pioneer makes really good subs. i have it hooked up to a 1400 watt crunch amp and i thumps.
Very good sub! i have two in a ported box .pretty loud for the price i have a friend with 2 12 in jackhammers and mine is louder than his with half the price. make sure you get aftermarket speakers too i havent yet and my subs over power my stock speakers so get aftermarket speakers and youll be amazed
Great sub at a great price! Deep, loud, and accurate bass! You could spend more and get less, but not much less to get so much.
I just got this and have it on a 2 channel amp pushing about 350RMS to it. With the gain 1/4 way up and the bass on my deck at -6 it still makes my whole car shake. For the price its the best deal I ever got!
i helped one of my friends hook one up in his car with a keenwood 300w rms. it sounded good for about three months and then one of the coils blew. i guess you get what you pay for.
I HAVE ONE IN A Q-LOGIC BOX ON A ROCKFORD 800X2.THE BASS IS AMAZING GREAT SPEAKER FOR THE PRICE,THE AMP IS TURNED DOWN SO IS THE BASS ON THE RADIO AND THE DB STILL ARE POURING IN ALTHOUGH I MUST SAY THEY CRACK ALOT ONCE YOU TURN THE AMP UP BUT HALFWAY THEY PLAY SO GOOD. I DEFINITLY DONT REGRET THE MONEY I SPENT..JUST WONDERING HOW LONG THEY WILL LAST!!!!
I got 2 of these subs 2 years ago and ran them hard. They sounded amazing but one of the finally blew last week they are definately worth the money wish they were still availible i would buy another one
