Man, I just trade a Boss 2800 mono onyx amp. And 2 Kenwood 12" 1200w in the ported box, For 2 of these bad boys. These are the best woofers ever. I have them hooked up to a Logic 3000w mono- D class amp. They are BAD ASS. If you need some good subs, go KICKERS. My 2010 300 sound good as he$&. You cant go wrong with KICKERS.

The reviews don't lie. If you give em about a 1000 watts with a decent sized box, you straight! I had em in two different cars, A Chevy Lumina and GMC Yukon. They bang without fail. I will say this: If you want more SPL, step up the Solo Barics or JL Audio W6s or W7s

I bought the CompVR 12s from a friend used, and its my first system that I hooked up in my car, and it bangs! I'm running a temporary Blaunkpunkt amp that is almost 20 years old and it still makes these things bang! Even at only 125 watts per sub, these things still shake my mirrors, change in my cup holder, and I can bounce stuff off of my trunk. Definatly a perfect siub for those who are looking for something basic, but the competition series is something that can be an option for those looking for something that can handle more power. My next step is to put a Lanzar 4000 watt VIBE286 amp in and get the chaos level to rise.
