Great dvd picture quality. Wish it had a subwoofer level control. the eq isn't the greatest so an external amp and eq are recommended. I've always owned alpine products and what made me make the switch was the price of the dvd player. Sound quality cannot be compared to an alpine but for half the price of one you cannot go wrong. Great deck if your considering a dvd screen in your vehicle.
I totally agree with Kauai Boy. It is a great value. They say you get what you pay for but here your getting a lot more. Like he said I only wish it had a better EQ but for less then $400 what can you expect. Me personally expected a lot less then what I got. Great picture and the look of the unit I also like. Has a lot of input options and even set up for 5.1 surround action, with the center and sub preamps. Let me end here cause dual is not paying me lol.
I love this headunit! I just installed it the other day in my 2008 Titan with ease. DVD picture quality is really good for the price of the unit. The main thing i wanted was MP3, dvd, capability with touchscreen at a good price. I also have the navigation unit that plugs right into the unit and love it also! Great buy, don't pass this deal up!
"AWESOME" only way to describe this head unit. It fit perfect on my '02 Maxima (w/ harness, kit), it really look like a factory navy on my dash. Best deal for $$, "NO Question" The dvd have a great quality and the sound with 4 panasonic 6.5 (230w)and a single 8" MA Audio(800w) with a Rockford P3002,is better by far than the factory it replaces(bose/ clarion). For less than a $950(speakers and wires incl)I made a premiun navi-sound better than a $2,800 dealer option in my Maxima. I Love this one
if you want a great 2 din monitor for a good price this is the one to get. the dvd quality is great and it is easy to use.For the price you cant get much better than this!
FOR THE PRICE CANT BEAT I WAS SKEPTICAL ABOUT THIS UNIT I FEEL LIKE IM STILL WAITING FOR IT TO STOP WORKING BUT Ive HAD IT FOR 6 MONTHS NOW AND WORKS GREAT MY ONLY BEEF IS THE EQUALIZER BUT DVD QUALITY IS ON PAR WITH MY BROTHER'S KENWOOD DDX7019 ITS REALLY AMAZING FOR THE PRICE DONT HESITATE U WONT BE DISSAPOINTED
I had the pioneer avic z-1 which was a P.O.S. they had to buy back. For 350 bucks compared to the z1's 1700 price tag i still dont understand how pioneer stays in business.This units a winner for the $. BTW , the guys at online car stereo are the best and after my 6th ave electronics experience (where thier attitude changes to F.U. the second they get your cash) its nice to know there are some honorable guys selling electronics nowdays.
Sounds great but the sub controlls could be better. In the winter when its cold the screen freezes up and wont work untill it warms up and it could really use a clock, it stinks not knowing the time.
This is a good purchase for a first time buyer. I would not buy it again. It is missing the most basic feature of all, A CLOCK. And it does not carry much features and bells and whistles as you would expect. but not bad for a first timer
no clock, weak equalizer, motarized screen often freezes, installer told me it was used. u get what u pay for!

No doubt about it, for the money this is the best in dash video device out there.
not bad for the price, good for a first time user. it doesnt have usb direct connect or a clock. also the equalizer is very weak. other then that not too bad of a product
