My nephew wanted me to install a "budget" system in his 98 Hyundai Sonata. So I purchased this amp to power a 12" Sony Eplod sub and boy was I surprised. This is one hell-of-an amp. I've used MTX, Precision Power, and Kenwood amps before and this amp far exceeds the performance I got from amps I've used in previous systems. Like is so well that I'm going to install one for the dual Sony SL12S Xplod system in my '01 Chrysler 300M. A very stable amp. You can not go wrong with this amp.
A bit skeptical at first, but I'm not the type of person to judge until I experience for myself. Picked this up and for the price it does the job, and does it well. I'm powering a 12" sub DVC wired into a 2ohm load. Have not had a problem and the amp has been stable.
This is one hell of an amp i have it pushing my two 12'' p2s and it sounds great. havent had any trouble yet. i would say to get one of these amps.
this is a great amp. i have 2 of them in my 06 monte. i have each one hooked up to a sony 12" 1300w sub and they sound great. the only problem i had at first was that they were draining my battery. i got a capacitor and they work great.
I had a jl 500/1 that got stolen. This thing replaced it. I am just as satisfied as far as power as I was with that. This doesn't have quite as many knobs or adjustments, but it still has some. Very very impressed with how it hits for $80!
Hey, this is a great amp. I got it on two JL W1v2.4s in a pro box and it shakes the dash in my single cab f-150
this amp is great!!!!!! hooked to a SSL 2 farad cap pushing 2 BOSS Audio DVC LAC129D. good match but so far cant get to 2ohm setup.either way this is a solid amp for the money at 500 watts RMS plenty o bass!!! thanks OCS
I was very skeptical about this amp. For the cheap price, but 500watt RMS rated power. Too good to be true? I don't like to judge until I experience it myself, so I tried it. I'm powering a single 12" DVC FUBAR sub wired for a 2ohm load and this thing makes it pound! Havn't had any problem with overheating going into protection. I'm very happy with my purchase, only wish it used terminal-less install. I'm still skeptical about the 500watt rms rating, but my ears are very satisfied.
Works great. Have it powering a DUB 900w 12". They are a perfect match. hits hard and havent had a problem with it yet.
