Bought these with my employee discount at Best Buy....man are they king kong! Got um in my regular cab pick up did a blow thru install people just trip out cuz not many can figure out i'm running these godzillas in my bed! Using a Hifonics Brutus 1205d works out ok getting 600 per sub and wired down to 1ohm
I put 3 of these in my scion tc and it bangs hard, i have it wired up to my 2000 rms hifonics brutus amp and it sounds awesome
got 2 of these in my scion tc hooked to fosgate t10001-bd...match made in heaven, had a pair of kicker comp vr's but they couldnt handle the power and blew out, the fosgates keep on comin, couldnt give perfect 10 rating since there is always room to improve
I have two of these in my 1977 Chevy Nova, powered by a Rockford Fosgate p1000-1bd amp, giving 500 watts RMS to each sub. The combo is perfect and pounds SO HARD. People think I have atleast 4 subs in the back until I open the trunk up for them to see. I would reccomend these to anyone if they are willing to spend the money. I would rate them a perfect 10 but the price is a little high for my liking, but thats just me being greedy (They are WELL worth the money!) If I'm not careful, I could rattle my 30 year old classic to pieces! Overall, 9.9/10
this thing is heavy! magnet is huge. picture dont do the justice. sound quality is great! i just got one hooked up to a xm9001gtr at 2 ohms. plannin on gettin one more next payday w/ another xm9001gtr, then another capacitor and a 4channel xplode to my bostons. i know this combination will be louder than 95% of peoples in brevard county!
these are the best speakers ive ever bought!!! have 2 of them in a 2004 2door explorer and dam they hit hard with a rf p300 i just cant wait till the p1000 i just ordered shows upto see what these bad boys can really do
i have three of these in my intrepid with a 2000 watt lanzar competition amp. from where i sit it pounds..but not hard enough to my liking, but in the back seat. It Hurts.
ok let me start i have two of these subs in my 91 honda accode with a RF p1000 hooked up at 1omh they hit hard people hear me like 5min before i arrive ive had tons of people think ive got 4 12" or 2 15" but when i pop the trunk theres 2 12" then there mouth drops but anyway very good subs buy them lol

I got one not to long ago and wow dose the thing hit... i only got a old school orion 100W pushing it and it hits hard as hell.. cant wait to get the Rockford Fosgate Punch P500-2 when i save up the money... overall this is a really good sub ... and this is the place to get it ... thank you onlinecarstereo ..... this like a 300 dollar sub everyone... 150 here.... get them while they got them... i always have and always will be rockford and this sub dose not make me change my mind.... got 2 of these, each powered by a sony xm9001gtr, 1 cap, power acoustic capcell, and four boston acoustic sx65's powered by a sony 4 channel. panasonic head unit to bring it all together. this combo makes my dash and windshield shake and my roof flex like crazy. the highs are insane. pounds techno and bass drums in rock like freakin crazy. cant wait to get dynamat to increase the SPL.
I put 4 of these in my '89 Caprice with two of the punch 1000bd's at 1 ohm each....WOW!!! These have got to be some of the sickest subs i've ever owned. If you put the right amount of power to them in the right enclosure, you'll do damage. Im convinced. At first I was skeptical because the last series of punch subs sucked. But this time Rockford got it right. If you want good-sounding, quality bass with little distortion and some that is able to hit the low frequencies, the P3s are the way to go!!!
i bought one of these about 6 months ago and all i got to say is DAMN! i only had a 125 watt amp going to this and it still shook my house. Im buying a second one very soon and getting a 320x2 amp for it. I didnt buy from here i bought from another place for $85 brand new
These subs hit HARD ! I have 2 in a bandpass, powered by a t10001bd...Bass is deep, clean and loud. I got mine cheaper than the OCS price but definitely a good buy here. Alot of places want over $200 a sub, so grab them while you can.
Have hade this Sub for some time now with my Rockford Fosgate Punch P500-2 in a custom box I made with help of the rockford website to know what the sub needs for best sound quality. Very good sub for the money. its crystal clear in my 95 neon (after some DYNAMATE LOL). Dont know what it puts out for DB but it hits hard and clear. I recomend this sub to anyone.... this sub is a MONSTER and now thinking of going for a 2nd one but will need some power to push to my rockford punch 6.5 and 6x9. Its not all about the subs people, cant have good sounding system with jsut a sub in your trunk
sub bangs got mine hooked up to a behringer ep4000 on 2ohms getting 1250w in an active home theater sub box its louder than my behringer x1800b 18" but lacks the some sq have had other car subs indoors with a bit better response

I had one of these subs wired to an infinity 1600a @4ohms i was pushin 400rms to it. I paid well over 200 for the sub with a $30 warranty(still not worth the price tag) at best buy which was a rip off considering i put a hole in it the size of a baseball within a month lol. After that experience i purchased an Audioban AW1200V capable of 200 watts more rms and not to mention it was $100 cheaper than the P3D412 and a yr later the Audiobahns still beatin like a champ!! Rockfords not what they used to be!
Have two of these in a ported box facing forward running them with a SM1-1500 autotek Amp. I have turned the amp down as it was too loud! Quality over Quantity is my moto and they certainly achieve just that. Crisp and clean sound. I figure to be hitting db's around high 130s to low 140s with amp barely turned up. I purchased these online for $89 a piece.
i have got mine from here and they are great. got them installed using a p500 amp and man did they hit hard. had to get a new car so going to have them installed with a 1 farad cap and alpine deck. mad i am sure it is going to be great. had them in my 97 cavalier and 01 cavalier.
first of all for everyone who says rockford aint wat it used to be needs to listen to there new subs one P312 in a 1.7 cube ported box out hit 2 mtx5512 jackhammers in the mtx enclosure! plus it was twice as clean.. there is no better 12 inch sub under 200$ period i have heard mtx 55,65, and 75 hundred series subs kicker compvrs, pioneer premier champion series, w3s, xplods,type r, not even close! rockford for life!
These subs are mad loud, i fell in love with these subs. I hits like no other it blows other subs out of the water. But these broke and i got to alpine type r's love these subs probably would get them again but im sorry alpine is way much better we all know that.
wow these are great subs! im pushing 2 in a SEALED box(will be getting ported when i get some income) at 1 ohms on a kenwood 1800 watt amp. thats 900 watts to each and these are still hungry for power! they are flexing my doors and rattling the trunk like no other. DYNAMAT
these are one of the best subs i have owned other than the cadence comp serie's.Way way better than the type r's and any sub close to there series i have a kicker kx1200.1 amp i had is pushing two p3d412's and sounded awesome at 2 ohms then decided to go try a set of type r 12's and both went out within two weeks will neverrun a type r again i love the p3 downfall is buy a support a morman church?
I have 2 of these in a slot ported box with 3.6 cubic feet of space. they sound good and make my back window noticeably shake from the outside. although when they encounter an extremely low note they do not play as loud. but overall there pretty good and im happy.
Picked up a couple of these rewired down at 1 ohm in a ported box running them off a 2000.1 avionixx amp made the trip to vegas didn't miss a beat if you have a magnum grab em asap
These subs are no joke. i just installed 2 of these in my car and theyre running about 400 watts each and they POUND. Im eventually getting a slightly more powerful amp because mine lacks certain filters but wow Im def not regretting this purchase at all. You wont find a better deal on these subs anywhere. Buy these asap if u want some serious beats.
