i bought these speakers for a car i just bought. I put them in and it sounds unbelievable. My 6.5's are blown in the front and just these in the back make the whole car sound great!
Ok. I just put the speakers in a 51 chevy car. I know that not all of you have one but man do these things sound great. They went over and beond what I thought they could do. The bass sounds like I have a kenwood 10 in the trunk. I am running it off of the Kenwood KDC-MP238 alone WITH NO AMP and its perfect. If you want great bass mids and trebels, get this!
i put these in a 1973 dodge charger and i had to do a little cutting in the back to make them fit but once i got them in they sounded absolutely awesome and are so far the best speakers ive ever heard and for the price you cant beat it. i have a pioneer deck with 50 X 4 and i only have the 2 speakers hooked up and theyre great. I give these a 5 star!!!!!
These are amazing. All my friends think i have subs in the back. The highs and mids are crisp and clear while the bass thumps when turned up. My only problem is when i put volume all the way up it distorts very slightly but thats because i have a factory stereo and no amp, once i get an amp and after market stereo i'll be set. These speakers own, if your looking for insanely amazing and very cheap 6 x 9's get these.
Excellent speakers! They are high quality, good bass, clear, and they're Kenwood. You can't go wrong with the price. If you want the sound of a sub without having to buy one...just get these.
I put these in the doors of a 02 corvette running off a Kenwood KAC-6404 amp (50x4 rms). They sound GREAT! Nice midbass and very clean highs. You can't beat the price either.
sound great ,im a truck driver i put these speakers in my century freightliner with a matching pair of 3-ways they sound great.
Great sound quality! I have them hooked up to a Cerwin vega 350w amp giveing them 110w RMS. They sound outstanding they go way loud and the bass sounds more like a 10in sub than a pair of 6x9's. For $50.00 you can't go wrong.
At first I was going to go for a pair of JLs, but then i looked at my budget and sadly had only $60, these where the best quality speakers I found for $49, set them up with my Clarion H/U, they sound like if they reproduce much more than 80rms with really crisp detailed sound, and I end up keeping $6, put almost 3 gallons of gas with leftover money lol : )
Excellent sound with great bass. I actually had people ask me if i had subs in my car when i had only these. Very good overall
These put out more sound than any i've ever had. Clean and Load off just the receiver. Sound almost as load as systems i've had with a small amp and lil sub. Mounting tweets low and recessed compromises staging a bit tho.
Love these. Couldn't ask for better for the price. It really does sound like there is a small sub in the back. Had to tune my fade to the front some cause these are so powerful in the back
