i had a pair 10"s of this series sub. they sounded pretty decent, not as loud as i expected, they distorted at fairly low volume. but where the problem was the, one blew about 2 months after install and the other had the dust cap blow off. i wasnt over powering them, had a infinity amp pushing about 500 w. if you want something low cost and dont wanna blow your windows out, these would suit you well, if you want king kong in the trunk... go with their better series of sub, or alpine, pioneer.
