I purchased 2 of these amps before they got discontinued from crutchfield. So far these amps have been very reliable. I've been running 2 Alpine Type R on each one of these. I've had them for several years (roughly around 5 or so) without any problems what so ever. True power ratings too. Its not the moat effecient amp but performs wonderfully. I definitely would recommend this amp to anyone who needs around 1500-1570 watts @ 2 ohms. It simply out performs most fosgates and other amps I've had with same wattage. If you blew this one maybe it was a small manufacture defect or installer/operator error. Definitely worth fixing.
