When I first saw this amp on ocs i thought this amp can't be one ohm stable and under two hundred dollars. But I have come to find out it is! I have it and a boss audio 20 farad capacitor pushing a ten inch '03 kicker L7 and a 12 inch audiobahn 1200N. They beat nice and hard and I am running it all at a one ohm load. The amp does get warm but not extremely hot and has not cut off on me even at peak volume!! This amp is the BEST 159 dollars you will ever spend!
Boss is known for crappy products but their top products are good. This amp doesn't push as much as rated but still puts out probably 1600-1800 rms at 1 ohm. Great for the price. It blew 2 12's that were 750wrms 1500 max rated, with a clean hole on a thick wire that was on the spider and i had to get 2 new 12's 1000wrms 2000max and it pumps out 135+DB in sound quality ported box, should hit over 145 if you just port them to 35-45hz instead of 20hz (depending on subs, I have audiofonics now, a generic but good sub 24hz resonant frequency) but sound would suck. High quality sound if you don't pump up the gain, and it doesn't get any louder just distorted. A good 6db increase from a 400wrms amp i had. It overheats after about 90-120 minutes on car trips.
When I first saw this amp I thougt it can push my 15" L7 2000w max Kicker but this amp disapointed me a lot it not even move my sub
This amp will problably be alright on anything else but i have it on 3 Boss Diablo 12's. The sound quality is distorted the more you turn up the crossover. It does not get too hot, that is the only good thing I can really say about it. What can I say you get what you pay for. I'm going to take one of the 12's out and see if it sounds any clearer if not i will have to switch brands.
this is not a bad amp for the money but i have it on 2 lanzar max pro 15s and they hit but the 2000 watt boss amp i previously had on them running at 4ohms hit harder than this one running at 1ohm. Im not very happy with it.
