I have these in my Tacoma and they really are FREAKEN LOUD!!! Really Good Speaker for the price you pay.
I just got these things in the mail a week ago, put them the car hook them up to a SPL seires 2 1600 watts max. 2 channel amp. 310 watts RMS each channel. That is what the paper work with the amp. says? I think it was pushing about 225 watts RMS per.channel!! These speakers are way over rated i had my gain on my AMP. turn half way up.These speakers lasted about 2-HR play time,don't wast your money on these pieces of sh** BOSS AUDIO (SUCKESA**)
I Have 2 pairs in my Chevy Suburban hooked up to the crunch 1800watt amp and these speakers are loud and sound good.
I put a set of these in the front of my honda accord and hooked them to a Boss CH550 amp. They are great for the money! I would not give them more than 175 watts RMS though, the low price means that while rated high, they really can't handle what they say. But trust me, they sound GREAT. If you are competing, get more expensive speakers. If you want very HIGH QUALITY speakers with GREAT SOUND, these cannot be beat for less than $70! Years ago this would be impossible, BOSS AUDIO makes it happen! I dont want anything louder, I'll go deaf!
i have to 8" lanzar subs hooked to a soundstorm 1200w 2 cannel amp and and set of these boss audio componenet speakers hooked to soundstorm 1600w 4 channel amp, in a ford ranger reg cab, and it is freaking loud and thumps hard the windows and mirrors shake and i love it sounds great
