The wire is obviously smaller than 8 Gauge, but it handles my 350RMS amp with no problems and I've had no issues with system noise or anything. I've owned worse power wire. Diesel Audio makes some really good stuff. Don't let this amp kit fool you, their subs and amps are great.

Almost total garbage. Power wire is obviously 12 gauge, not 8 gauge. Length is 17 feet, not 20. Spend a few extra bucks and get something worthwhile.
