well i just got done doin a install on a suburban and he chose this amp its pushing three 15 inch lanzar max15d and honestly i expected more after readng the reviews on the 4000.1 soundstorm but still not a bad by for the money.
WOW!! This thing pounds!! I am running it at 1 ohm, on a pair of Audiobahn AW1500's (15" high excursion subs) and I blew the windshield out. I also have the CR2400.2 and the CR2000.4 to help it out. I replaced my four corner factory speakers with kenwood comps and a pair of 6X9s in the top of the box for the 15s. These amps kill. I was little leary at first, but these things run cool, look AWESOME and pound hard, and are extremly clear, thanks OCS!
to the guy below (carl)....."blew the windsheild out with two 15's sorry i call bullshit i know EXACTLY what it takes to blow a window out 225lbs per square inch just be honest so future buyers dont buy this amp cuz they read bs like that.....
Ahhh coulda been alot happier, i got this running to only 2 12 pioneer premiers and dont get me wrong it fuckin pounds but for the size of the amp it could do more, overall good for the money though
i have this amp on 2 planet audio big bang 2s down one Ohm and im damn near knockin pictures of the wall. if i had 2 i would buy both products again. thanks OCS
i just bought this amp and it arrived at my house today.. i am going to be pushin two alpine type x 10s is this to powerful for those subs?
Good for the money i have this pushing 1 jl w7 and it makes it hit hard. only fault is have to put a smaller gauge wire into ie cause the terminal is so small.
