Great amplifier! I gave this unit a 7 on features because it doesn't have anything to offer than most others don't. The features it does offer work very well though. Subsonic filters are a great feature for any powerful sub amp, and this if just that. The crossover section has a 24dB slope, so you're sure to cut out the frequencies you don't want amplified. For SQ I gave it an 8. Great sound, but nothing special. Don't take this as it has a ton of distortion, it doesn't. It's just not a VERY highend product. We sell Alpine, Pioneer, Elemental Designs, Kicker, JVC, and Jensen. I ordered in these amps over anything we stock for a reason. I could get the Kicker 2500.1 for less than this amp here, that should say enough. I took 2000 watts of Soundstream power over 2800 watts from Kicker. Money value is through the roof. Solid build quality, awesome finish, and nice layout make it worth every penny. Over all I gave it an 8. It's not a Brax, McIntosh, Tru, or anything like that, but it comes in very high within it's class. If you're looking for a ton of power try to strap 2 of these together and I think you'll be more than happy.
WOW!! I have this amp running at about 2/3 gain and running at 1 ohm and it barely gets warm!! It definitely puts out what it claims and more! I have this strapped to a stroker 10 in a sealed box, and surprisingly enough (for a 10 in a sealed box) it has the ability to actually hurt your ears!!
i have 2 of these and they really pound and i recommend this amp for those with t5-15s, they really drop that low bass notes that travel for long distances, i rate this product a 10+...
this amp rocks, but if u bench test , that is ,doin a test to see how many watts the amp is actuall givin out. This amp's output is 1700wrms at 1 ohm...but its a ok amp for street bass :)
I got this amp pushing a TCSOUNDS 15 @ 1ohm ...WOW it makes it hit harder then ever. Soundstream TRX2000 is a solid amp for the money and it does put out what it says Tons of cleen power. all in all very happy with this amp. out performed aneythinh i had in the past (alpine,pioneer ,kicker ,kenwood) The amp looks great,But alittle on the long side at 22.2 inches long. If you have the room get this amp, You cant go wrong.
I just got mine today, upgraded from a rockford fosgate t10001bd. This amp blows the RF out of the water. I have it running a 1ohm to 2 Audioque 2.5 12s this setup just throttles my car. I would recommend this amp to anyone wanting great bang for your buck.
