I have the 2/15' JBL's with both voice coils connected, wired at 4ohms for a 8ohm total load to the amp in the GroundShaker Box with the HiFonics True 400 Watts TITAN Amp, set a 3/4 of its power,(and thats not bridged) with a Electronic Crossover from HiFonics too, all in the 1999 Cadi so the box and all its works slide right behind the back seat to perfectly for a very clean look, while the woofers are facing towards the trunk opening and the sound is with no doubt powerful, no need to do any major tweaking or faking the bass its got it and very very good, if your CD has a track recorded in via the studio with megabass it plays it out very cleanly, like the newer Planet Rock hit redone, granted the car was in the garage at the time but according to my wife any where in the house as the song was playing shook the entire house, a brand new 2 story house. All items bought from Online Car Stereo Amp, Woofers, Box, Crossover and the EQ that is not even installed yet. Powerful combo, the only thing I was worried about was would the Amp Push hard enough but its has 1/4 power to spare and even than it could also be bridged cause its not, I have the amp and crossover set to stereo, sounds wicked.

I bought one of these jbl subs in 2010 and put it in a 1.9 cu.ft. Sealed enclousure I built and hooked it up to a 320w rms 2ch. Amp(not bridged) it worked real well until one of the tinsil wires broke..fixed it myself and it's still going strong. If this sub had the tinsil wires stitched to the spider I doubt I would have had this problem.. I really like the sound qaulity of this jbl sub. i'm going to try some cerwin vega v-max 15's or some mtx 7515's next seeing as these subs have rubber surrounds and die cast baskets and better tinsil leads for 15-35dollars more per sub. overall i would say this is definitly the best 15" sub for 140dollars or less..and a good buy

I Have 4 of 6 I plan to get, so far with a MB Quart RA2000.1 @ 1300w @ 2 Ohms.
I am able to hit at 127.6 DB in the back of a Ford Ranger so far. I am the loudest in our area. Bought it to smash down a rude 18 YO thinking 2 Memphis 12s could out blast me. Along with another with 2 12" Memphis and 2 15" Memphis going threw the area all hours of the night Well they were sadly wrong. :-) 10 Stars. The kids stopped finally. Go JBL!!!! Took out a total of 7 bass heads in total.
