I really suggest this sub set up. for the price you spend i guarantee u will pound louder and a good sound quality then anyone. unless u go with jl for better quality stick with these especially for a hard hitting bass.powered by 2 1500 watt kicker amps with 2 sets of c5 jl component speakers
man you cant go wrong with these i just bout these and man let me tell ya theses things pound real hard. if you wanna turn some heads i would recommend go with these..and this is my opinion but these sound better than the jl w7 but that's just my opinion so don't flip if you disagree.. If you get these i recommend you go with the kick zx 1500.1 mono block amp you will be satisfied... i put dynamate in my trunk which stopped all the rattling i would recommend that with out that then your gone to be sounding like a hoopty coming down the road...this thing does some surious window flexing n some trunk flexing and side of the car flexing great sub n deal. Well, as nice as these are... how bout this. Ever heard of an Orion HCCA? Same price... 3x as loud. 2000w RMS. I've always been dissapointed in how much of a rip off kicker is. Good quality but its really not worth that much. im always amazed at how much people spend on it. Orion is a very good and high quality brand. Get an HCCA for this money if ur spending it. youll love it.
actually romulus you are completely wrong with everything u said except orion is a quality sub.A single 12' orion is the same price as 2 of these L7's and the box the orion might be 3x as loud but i am gonna have to give the bigger bargain and more reasonable pricing to kicker. These subs are very loud not the best quality but still the better value
yo, i had 8 of these subs in the bed of my 92 F-150 Step side wit a bed cover. i only had 4 at first, but i also had 4 in my car. i sold my car and put the other 4 in my truck. these things POUND!!! it would leave a ring of dirt from under my truck if i just sat there and listened to it. they dont distort that much and they are durable. you can blast them all day and they will take the abuse.
"Yo" i put like 30 of these on the bed of my truck because thats what all the cool kids do. really? give me a break. back to the real world, this is a well designed woofer however if it came from the factory in a 1.5 cu ft sealed box it would have much better sound quality. I had one in a sealed box in my jeep so im sure two of these are enough to piss your neighbors off.
i have had these subs for a while in my blazer, put it this way, my neighbors absolutely hate me..my family can hear me coming home wen im still a few miles down the road..great deal.subs..but beware old people will hate you.. I have had just about every word shouted at me..and lots of people told me im number 1 with there middle finger..
