bought two set of these for my old accord and was running them with a pioneer four channel and the detail was awsome. three years of heavy abuse and one of the tweeters finally gave. i was running the speakers with three quarters of there rms rating for that period so it was expected theyd give sooner or later. also recommend a sub with this set up as the mids and high are fantastic but the bass leaves something to be desiredr

I highly doubt any other 6.5 inch 4-way speaker can compete with the precise sound quality of Pioneer. The high frequency these speakers generate allows you to experience every detailed sound imaginable. I prefer the three C's which Pioneer speakers offer..(crystal,clear,clarity) than distortion with unknown off the wall name brand speakers.
