I bought 4 pairs of these for a custom install in the rear sail panels of my Chevy Astro. While breaking them in with frequency sine waves, the tweeter mountings got hot enough to melt, causing the tweeters to tilt downward. Shortly after in future testing and break in, I blew the tweeters 3.3mf capacitor on one speaker. I replaced the cap myself instead of doing a warranty claim and having to wait for the repair. I am glad the cap popped than the speaker itself. These speakers were made in Vietnam, not what I expected.
