Reverse Tilt Mechanism

Depending on the vehicle, in-car monitors are installed in a variety of heights and angles, and this sometimes results in reduced visibility due to reflected glare from sunlight. Kenwood’s solution is the exclusive Reverse Tilt mechanism: in addition to the traditional tilt mechanism that allows the bottom of the monitor to be tilted forward over 5 positions, Reverse Tilt also allows the top of the monitor to tilt forward to eliminate reflected glare.

Built-In Sirius Satellite Protocol

    I called to order this unit and was told to wait a month or so until the units that included the much needed firmware fixes started shipping. The unit has several issue's with freezing up under certain circumstances. One of them has to do with IPOD album art slowing the process down to a crawl. I know what you’re thinking, why am I writing a review on a unit I haven’t purchased yet? The reason folks is that I’ve purchased from Online Car Stereo before and it was a pleasurable no problems experience. The guy I spoke to on the phone could have said anything to make the sell but he showed integrity and even explained how the warranty on these wasn’t the normal 2 year from Kenwood but 1 year from Online Car Stereo because they were not an authorized dealer. To me the savings and previous levels of support make this purchase a no brainer. My local store wants to give me a “great deal” for 1800+ installation! Save yourself some cash and go with online car stereo my friends. I’ll be watching the Kenwood forums to see when the fix is in and plan on ordering two units from online car stereo.
