put these in the doors of my 86 f250 off a jvc head unit with a pair of 6x9 kenwood kfc-6984ps, and for being a 3 way speaker they are not great speakers for bass but they are only 6.5s so to be expected but the highs and mids are great. for the price you can't beat them
