Great value, good features and sound quality, but not recommended for large subs. Mine went out on me about a year after I got it and I had problems with it going on and off on long trips for about 6 months now.
i had mine for about a year and 1 month now and my filter switch broke in this cold weather, 40A fuses are also hard to find. Mine was going on and off and now is showing my overcurrent light 24/7. i heard it might be blown.
The amp was good. It was super easy to install. I poped some RCA's in and some power and speaker wires and I was ready to go. Right now I'm using it to power a Kicker Marine 10" sub in my wakeboard boat. It really put some kick in by bass.
i had this amp for a year then i sold it. yes its a sony and it lasted me a year. its still working in my friends car. it powered 2 kicker comp. vr subs. it his pretty hard. as long as you don't beat the crap out of it it should last. overall not a bad amp.
Poor quality of construction. The plastic dividers between the 12v+ and ground have completely shattered, rendering the amp pretty much useless. The sound quality was okay at best. The knobs had a tendency to change themselves without help. Imagine what it sounds like when it randomly pulls out of the low-pass filter and into high-pass. Jesse is right about the 40A fuses. You have to hunt for them (maybe it's just the town I live in).
