These speakers sound horrible. If you're looking for good sound quality, go with a set of component speakers. MTX's entry level component set sound 5x better than these. The bass response is awesome on these speakers, the midrange stuff is lacking and the highs sound horrible, out of control shimmering. These speakers are terrible especially if listen to rock/metal stuff.

I have a pair of these in my door panels and they have deep basket for deep bass freqs A 100% recomended

Guys I have the REV TS-C160R 6-1/2 components speakers up front and the REV TS-D160R 6-1/2 coaxials in the rear running off my Pioneer HU only and the sound is awesome. I plan to add the new Pioneer Premier PRS-D4000F and switch out my HU with the new DEH-9800BT when it is released. Pioneer all the way is what I say!!!

I have a set of the PIONEER TS-D160R 6-1/2's in my '93 civic and they sound EXTREMELY GOOD!I recommend these and basically 90% of pioneer audio to every one!Dont listen to Brittany from Florida cause she doesnt know what shes talkin about,she can take her MTX cause PIONEER sounds 100% BETTER ANY DAY!
