  • 1 of the best set of comp. speakers out on the market.

  • Great component set. They tend to be high priced, but for the price I got them at, i'll give them a 10 on the money value. The mids didn't produce much bass at first but after breaking them in they sound great. Would highly reccomend these speakers.

  • Not for the faint hearted... The perfect split requires a huge amount of juice to power these things. When you recieve them They come presented in the most beautiful manner and it just get's better. After a little braking in The woofer spings to life and catches up to the tweeter leaving you with an image far greater than any pair of ears deserves. If you want to power these speakers I suggest an amp with no less than 150W RMS going to each speaker. spare no expense when installing them as they definatly require some professional kick pannels and if you can some dynomat.finally give them some love and care and blast them through the neighbourhood knowing that no other pair of speakers in the world can touch your "PERFECT" split!

  • Installed in the front of a '96 Camry. Alpine HU, Infinity 7540 amp powering speakers. Had some difficulty with the install in the Camry. The drivers were smaller then the factory openings. The lows from these speakers are not overly impressive, would not recommend for a system lacking a sub. However, the highs are absolutely unreal. Sound incredibly lifelike for instrumental music. Vocals sound incredible as well.

  • feeding them with a PPI art series A300.2 and they sound great. woofers need to break for mids to sound as good as the highs. very clear, realistic sounds with bright highs, just how i like my music. great for rock, rap, jazz, just about anything...

  • These components are just as they say, Perfect. I pushing 2 sets of them in my prelude and everyone has is just amazed how clear and loud they get. I have them being pushed by only 100watts each and its unreal how loud they get, while remaining cystal clear and sharp. These speakers are not for people who dont like higher ranges, the tweeters can drive you out of the car. The woofers are real tight and will take awhile to break in, but once they break in they will sound like no other speaker will for under 600.Also the crossovers look impressive.

  • They get better with time. These guys were loud from the get go,I got these paired with two regular Kappas hooked up parallel to a Hifonics Zeus amp 1000x1 at 2 ohms with two JL10w3vs subs powered with a Alpine M1005 amp 1000x1 ,the sound of the Perfects are amazing, from Jazz to Rapp, and yes they will make your ears bleed if need be,I love my Perfects and so do my neighbors.HA HA

  • The best set of speakers i have ever owned hands down! Im currently running a kicker sx900.4 to them and a set of kappa 4x6's and i must say the clarity is unsurpassed by anything ive herd to date. Very pleased with their performance especially with so much power going to them!

  • I just replaced my Infinity Kappa 62.9i with the Perfect 6.1. The 62.9i were low in the front doors and they screamed with brilliantly clear sound (I wish my dashboard could hold them). So I mounted the tweeter of the Perfect 6.1 in the triangle shaped panel in the window of the front doors. Wow! Amazing!! What presence!!! The installation manual said that separating the midwoofer and tweeter like this is the third best setup, but I am totally blown away by the difference it made! Oh Yeah.

  • well, been an infinity fan since kappas came on the market, 6.1 highs are bright, but counters the hiway noise, rite, dudes? Am Old Fart, but like my roots reggae like in the 70's Now I really appreciate HD radio with these drivers, jazz and classical too have also infinity bass link to drive dem lows! Cadence 4x100w daytona amp powers these 6.1 and 6x9 clif for back fill in rear doors, Happy as a dam clam at age 60! and still playing me music LOUD.

  • the specs and design on these speakers are well thought and well designed. the metal cone design will transfer heat away from the voice coils. good idea, 24db/oct is steep enough for you to dial in your cutoff frequency. the metal dome tweeter will shimmer and make brass reproduction very accurate. RMS power handling is average and is perfect blend for a system with subwoofer. I would recommend running them at 200-300 RMS per channel at 4 ohms with a HPF cutoff freq set at 60-70 Hz to get these components performing at best. I would recommend these to people looking for accurate details in their music.

  • Perfect is a pretty fitting name for these speakers. I'm glad I got a chance to grab a pair of these decade old components while I still could. I honestly don't see the need to use any sort of HP filter on these babies seeing as how the impedance at 70ohm pretty much acts like a HP filter. Those who complain about the lack of bass didn't bother to turn off their hp filter, didn't try to amp it up, or at least didn't deaden their doors. These jewels have pulled not only the soundstage up higher where I like it thanks to the tweets being up on the dash but it has also brought the bass more up front because I hear more bass coming from the front while I still feel it from the back. They had sound decent when I was only pumping 50w rms but the jump to 195w rms has brought even more depth and clarity. I'll accept the manual's dare that there isn't an active crossover on the market that can replace their passive Linquitz-Riley crossover. That was 12 years ago when that manual was written and it looks like AudioControl has exactly what I need. Bi-amping them will be so much more fun.

  • Best speakers I have ever owned. Clean, crisp, yet crazy loud music. Run them with a Rockford Fosgate T600.4 amp, and they are truly amazing. Killer mids and highs. Mids and lows are very punchy, but accurate. Tight instrumentals, great vocals, and solid rock. You just cant go wrong here. Plan to run them with lots of clean power (100 watts RMS per channel minimum), and dont be scared to over power them. Use lots of sound deadening, and a sub, and you will have the most amazing sound ever! Highly recommended. Will be buying them again for my next vehicle.
