This is the baddest subwoofer you can buy on this site and you will be glad you bought it as long as you match it up with a big class D mono amp. I have an MTX 1501D on mine and it's the baddest thing i've ever heard. This sub beats JL by far!!!
these monsters are it.... i push these bad boys with 2 concept d-1200,s it dosnt get much better than this
One of my friends just bought one of the 2ohm versions of this. He broke it in in just about 2 weeks. His one sub setup is probably the only one I have ever heard that made my ears ring. I have been installing for about 14 years now, and I have never heard a one sub system this loud. He matched it with a Diamond Audio 1200.1, and we both know that that amp puts out more than 1200 watts. I would hope that this site starts trying to pick-up Diamond and JBL amps as well. Just make sure that you get the right amp to push this power hungry sub.
Its hard to find a good sub like this , especially since it is a sq/SPL subwoofer , beats jl w7 by far.
I have two of these subs. I push them with a 1200 watt kicker amp. They will definitely knock your socks off but they lack in deep extension. Enjoy your pounding.
these are 1 of the best 12's i have ever heard i have 1 hooked up with a matts 2200 RMS amp and it popped my windsheild out beats back the w7 by far, it can't compare
i have two of these being powered by a 2250D amp and they rule, i have yet to run into anyone that can come anywhere close with what they have, 15's, MA audio 4000 amps it doesnt matter, these subs with a planet audio tt2250D are it
I have 1 powered by an eD 9.1 amp feeding the woofer about 1400w,in an AudioEnhancers ported enclosure..... INSANE ,loud, clear and brutal... Having owned lots of subs in the past (Memphis,JL,,MTX,RF,SS,Eclipse and Diamond)this woofer is the best one yet
First of all I want to say if you do not have diamond audio subs and you are looking for sql, you need to step your game up. I have two of these subs hooked up to a cadence daytona 2500. in a sledge hammer enclosure. it has deep base you can feel in your chest, and no distortion. the only downfall is that they are power hungry, so don't go cheap on the amp.
