Bought the Pioneer TS-A6960R's and they sounded great but for the same price I found these. Wow, great sound Even without an amp and stock deck. They're running with the matching 6.5's. Just installed the pioneer deh-1600 50w x 4 deck with it. If you want an appealing set of speakers that put out on demand... these are deffinetly worth the money.
IT SOUNDS GREAT
i had a chance to hear these speakers in a friend of mines car and even without subs and an aftermarket HU, it sounded like a system, good bass response and good sq.
BEST 6X9'S I EVER HEARD
dont get me wrong.. i love these speakers.. they produce good clear sound at low frequencys.. the bass could be better.. ihave jbl 5'25 at the front and they seem like they have very good bass.. if i got 6x9 jbls my system would be more bassy... but with the pioneers and the 4 way(tweeters.etc) it is very clear ( just the bass should be a bit better ) i recommend it still
The only reason i gave the SQ a 9 is because they dont put out much bass. Even though they are 6x9's they should still put out a little bass. But the Treble is Amazing. My ears hurt.
