You can not beat Sony's design and quality, I bougth this product and I love the sound, power and look. Go for it!!!
low price with a very good quality
for the price ... you just cant beat this thing. the only thing I could ask for is auto resolution of the call letters on the radio station like the delco models have ..... but they dont play mp3 cds :D
This is my first CD/MP3 in dash player. It's good. Good sound, good control. Not a lot of extras. Display could be better but that's a minor point. Very happy. Would buy it again.
To whom this may concern, My name is Ravindra and I am a DJ here in Jacksonville, Florida. I have always been very particular about how clear my music must be. It has been about 4 years since I've bought a head unit, which was a Pioneer Premiere 920R. That head unit was great and still is but it doesn't play MP3's and it cost $636.00. Since then I have gotten a bit smarter about how I spend my money. LOL I have to say that the SONY CDX-MP40 is a great value for the money. I installed this head unit in a 2004 Kia Sorento and it looks great and sounds fantastic! It is even made in Korea (KIA)! LOL... Here are some features focused in on when purchasing this head unit: 1. Must play MP3 files ( A+ ) 2. Must read MP3 ID3 Tags ( A+ ) 3. Must have a functional remote ( A+ ) 4. Must be cost efficient ( A+ ) 5. Must have RCA out terminals and this model has 2... ( A+ ) 6. Must be easy to use ( A+ ) 7. Must have a bright and big display ( A++ ) 8. Must have a clear built in amp ( A+ ) 9. Must look good in my Grey and Black suv interior ( A++ ) 10. Must read folders ( A+ ) This head unit is a great value and other than it skipping a little when I first installed it and played an MP3 cd, it works perfect. I am really glad to see that you can still get quality at an affordable price. Thank you www.Online Car Stereo and I will be back to shop soon.
