for the money you can not get a better amp. i push two solo-baric 12L5 in a ford ranger
Just bought this amp, probably the best priced amp on here for the power it puts out. The 1500Wx1 @ 2 ohms is the max rating so it has about 750Wx1 @ 2 ohms RMS. Let me tell you though, as you should know PG amps wattages are always underrated and are more like 1/2-3/4 their actual wattage. And also if you drop the impedance by 1/2 it doubles the output, so with .5 ohm impedance you could potentially put out 6000W with this. Comparing this to my friends setup of a kicker kx600.2 (was looking to buy before i found this) with 3 farads of caps, hooked up 2 12" 2 ohm CompVR DVC against this with 1 farad cap, and 2 older JL 12" 2 ohm SVC and this setup literally blew his away. no contest. Best overall value here, great performance, hits hard, never misses a beat, only thing i wish it came with was the neon kit and the LPL remote bass control. Ah well gonna have to buy those now too.
i been using this amp for over a month now, have it pushing a JBL 12'' sub, (got it for free), it hits really hard when i listen to hip hop, but when i listen to trance and alternative, it skips a lot of the beats, almost hitting every other beat, might be my sub, but i will upgrade to 2x10'' kappa perfect, for tighter bass, or maybe 12'' kicker (guy down the street, sell for 80 bucks) this amp was hard to adjust at first but was flawless afterwards, the only complain i have is the cable configuration, usually you would put the RCA's on the right and the Power Cable on the left, with this amp, it has both the RCA's and the Power cable on the same side.. which makes it a little funky to install.. other than that its awesome!
i have 1 right now and i am putting another one in my truck with four audiobahn 10's. this amp puts out raw power for the price u pay.
this amp is very powerful.... o man it is !, but its just very difficult to make it sound good with my soundtream t4 12. not enough settings and medium sound quality, but for the price, its a beast
