When compared to other 10' subs like Memphis, MTX and Rockford Fostgate, the Octane holds it's own. Clear crips notes, smooth transitions from lows and highs, and no distorion at full capacity. Recommend only a well ported and sturdy built to maxumize this little monster.
Great little thumping monster, very good as compared to higher priced subs of equal power, also, if you look close at the picture it does have a blue led backlight ( very cool ) When it says " well ported " take heed ! buy this monster, port it, power it well, and it will outperform many of the other subs . . .
Oh man! I put one of these paired with a Crunch amp in my work truck. BOOOOM! I'm an old guy but, my kids say it hits hard! Thanks for keeping me cool OCS.
these subs sound awesome in my 06'saturn vue they are hooked up to a P.G. octane 4.2.0 two channel amp they sit in a center ported box and they rock and i have a stock deck... HAROW u can't beat the sound for the price!!
I bought this from a Car Stereo retailer in town a few years back for just over $100 CDN and I'm exremly impressed with it. I've got it hooked up to a PG 2.5:2 amp 150watt rms and it pounds. SQ is great. Many of my friends say it sounds better then my bud's Alpine Type S System with 2 10" subs way more power etc... Great buy
